Grievous Bodily Harm Charges At Dalby

Police have charged a man after an assault in Dalby on Wednesday afternoon, 6 May.

Around 2.30pm a 23-year-old man was walking on the Myall Creek footpath near Moreton Street.

It will be alleged another man has approached him and threatened the 23-year-old man, before stabbing him twice with a knife to the left upper arm.

The other man fled the scene but was located by police near Oakwood Street just after 4pm.

A 46-year-old Dalby man has been charged with one count of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm. He will appear in the Dalby Magistrates Court on Thursday, 7 May.

The 23-year-old man was taken to Dalby Hospital before been airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital in a serious condition.

The two men are not known to each other.
