Mackay detectives are investigating an incident in which a 36-year-old man sustained critical injuries in Andergrove this morning., Queensland Police say
Around 10.15am, police were called to an address on Bedford Road following reports of an unconscious man lying on a driveway.
On arrival, police located a man with significant head injuries. A crime scene was established and investigations commenced.
A 36-year-old man was transported to the Mackay Base Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A short time ago, a 26-year-old man was arrested. He is currently assisting police with their inquiries.
