Griffith City Council Opens Round 2 of Community Grants Program

Does your community organisation need funding to help with one-off projects, events and activities?

Griffith City Council's Community Grants Program Round 2 can provide support to help make it a reality.

The 2023/24 Community Grants Program has now opened and closes on Friday 3 May 2024 at 4pm.

Grants of up to $2,500 can be applied for to help local community groups, not-for-profit and charitable organisations or individuals deliver a range of projects and events which align with Council's Community Strategic Plan 2022-2032.

Groups are urged to get their applications in so they don't miss out.

Griffith Mayor, Councillor Doug Curran is encouraging eligible groups to apply for a Community Grant.

"The Community Grants Program aims to allow groups to develop ideas, projects and events that benefit the Griffith community," Councillor Curran said.

"The program acknowledges the incredible contribution our community groups and their volunteers make to achieve our shared vision for the Griffith Local Government Area.

"The Grant Program is always very popular and I urge you to get your application in soon."
