Grigoryan Brothers play Bowery

The Grigoryan Brothers are coming to St Albans to play The Bowery, so don't miss your chance to see Australia's finest guitar duo on Friday 3 May.

Their latest show 'Songs Without Words' highlights Slava and Leonard's deep appreciation for music across a broad spectrum of styles.

The show weaves its way through their many collaborations, both written and improvised and combined with their classical training allows the audience to experience a unique sound melding all these influences.

They will perform works by composers such as Bach, Elgar, Dvorak, Rachmaninoff, Faure, De Falla and Ponce.

The brothers take the classical guitar into genres such as jazz, folk and contemporary music and they have a passion to expand their horizons through new arrangements, their own compositions and commissions.

Broadly appealing and incredibly skillful, their virtuosity is reflected in their most recent tours. In August 2017, the duo performed as support for the Canadian singer-songwriter KD Lang on her Ingénue Redux, 25th Anniversary Tour. This was followed by a national tour with the great Flamenco guitarist Paco Pena.

The Bowery Theatre is proudly owned and operated by Brimbank City Council.
