Grooming chargesin Brisbane

Child Protection and Investigation Unit detectives have charged a woman with two grooming offences in relation to a complaint made in February.

It will be alleged the woman met a boy through an Indooroopilly educational facility.

It will be further alleged the woman had contact with the boy socially outside of school on various occasions from July 2022, when the grooming offences allegedly commenced.

On March 10, a 28-year-old Paradise Point woman was charged with two counts of grooming a child under 16 and one count of indecent treatment of a child under 16.

She is due to reappear at the Southport Magistrates Court on May 2.
