Guest speaker Rachel Berger headlines upcoming Women Entrepreneurs Networking Lunch

Business and Employment are pleased to be hosting the next Women Entrepreneurs Network Lunch in Launceston on Wednesday May 15th.

Established in 2010, these events provide an excellent opportunity for women in business to network and connect with other local businesswomen, tap into sources of business knowledge and explore personal and career development opportunities.

Special guest speaker Rachel Berger, comedian, broadcaster, novelist, columnist and agitator, will bring her highly regarded and adaptive comedic talents to entertain guests.

Rachel Berger's story is one of triumph and strength – it will make you believe in the power of laughter to overcome the most testing circumstances.

Guests can look forward to learning how Rachel has used humour to help her through various life challenges, and how laughter and seeing the humour in situations can equip you with tools to source your own personal strength.

All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Launceston women's shelter Magnolia Place. Since opening its doors in 1975, Magnolia Place has supported and protected thousands of vulnerable women and children.

The event is part of an ongoing series of networking lunches in Launceston for women in business, and is hosted by Business & Employment, supported by MAS National. Together they provide small business advice, mentoring and apprenticeship services across Tasmania.
