Guild Congratulates New NAPSA Committee

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia warmly congratulates the newly elected National Australian Pharmacy Students' Association (NAPSA) Committee, announced at the Annual General Meeting held on 5 July 2025 in WA.

The Pharmacy Guild of Australia warmly congratulates the newly elected National Australian Pharmacy Students' Association (NAPSA) Committee, announced at the Annual General Meeting held on 5 July 2025 in WA.

Sebastian Harper from Griffith University has been re-elected to lead NAPSA and its newly elected executive committee:

  • Michael Bejjani (University of Sydney)
  • Hope Beljak (Griffith University)
  • Ellen Bolger-Rowe (Charles Sturt University)
  • Jessie Kristo (University of Sydney)
  • Immanuel Mansour (University of New South Wales)
  • Joanne Yu (Monash University)

Re-elected NAPSA President Sebastian Harper said "This is such an exciting time to be studying pharmacy and an exciting point to take on this leadership position. I'm looking forward to continuing NAPSA's work advocating for pharmacy and pharmacy students across the country."

Andrew Ngeow, WA Branch President, Pharmacy Guild of Australia attended the AGM. "The Guild is proud to support the next generation of pharmacy leaders," he said.

"NAPSA plays a vital role in advocating for students and building a strong, united profession. We look forward to working closely with the new committee as they continue to champion the interests of pharmacy students nationwide."

The Guild also acknowledges the outgoing committee for their dedication and achievements over the past year, including their work on placement poverty, professional development, and the launch of the Health Students Alliance.

"As the profession continues to evolve, the Guild remains committed to supporting student pharmacists and ensuring they are equipped to thrive in a dynamic healthcare landscape.

"We know how important students are for the future of pharmacy. To recognise these contributions the guild has launched a new category in the Guild Community Pharmacy Awards that recognises 'Student Pharmacist of the year'".
