Repairs are currently underway at the Godinymayin Yijard Rivers Arts & Culture Centre (GYRACC) in Katherine following flood damage earlier today.
The Immediate Relief Payment Centre will reopen at GYRACC from 12 noon today once repairs are completed and the site is safe to operate.
We thank the community for their patience while repair works continue.
Immediate Relief Payments remain available to eligible residents affected by flooding in the Katherine area. Payments are being delivered in priority groupings to ensure households experiencing the greatest impact can access assistance as quickly as possible.
We understand this is a stressful time for many members of the Katherine community and appreciate everyone's patience while repairs are carried out.
