Police were called to Liverpool St shortly after 2:15pm today, after reports a vehicle had collided with several others in the vicinity of Harrington Street.
The woman driving the vehicle then reportedly attempted to leave the scene on foot, while in possession of a knife.
She was taken into custody by police a short time later. No one was injured during the incident.
