Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing 42-year-old woman Farzana Ahad.
Farzana was last seen in Richmond in December 2017 and has not been in contact with friends or family since.
Police have concerns for her welfare due to the length of time she has been missing and a medical condition.
Farzana is approximately 160cm tall, a medium build with an olive complexion, with short brown hair.
Farzana has a distinctive tattoo of a Hindu symbol on her upper left arm and a coloured butterfly, rose and zodiac symbol tattoo on her back.
Queensland Police have been investigating since 2017 and now investigators believe she may be in Victoria.
She is known to frequent the Richmond and Melbourne areas.
Police have released an image of Farzana in the hope someone recognises her and can provide information regarding her current whereabouts.
