Northern District Police are at a Davoren Park address after explosive related material was found there last night.
Police attended a Heytesbury Road, Davoren Park home about 8.30pm on Monday 29 April. A 43-year-old Davoren Park man was arrested and charged with possession and manufacture of explosives. He was refused police bail and will appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
Investigations are continuing at the address, with SAPOL's Bomb Response Unit and the MFS in attendance.
Police wish to reassure residents that there is no danger or threat to the public.
