Heywood police responded to reports of a vehicle driving erratically on the Princes Highway in Heathmere this morning (3 March).
The blue Holden Rodeo was travelling north between Portland and Heywood when police intercepted the driver about 10.30am.
The 22-year-old Portland man was the holder of a P2 licence and returned an alleged evidentiary breath test of .230.
His license was immediately suspended and he is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and other traffic-related offences.
