A pedestrian has died following a collision in Heidelberg Heights last night, Victoria Police say.
Investigators have been told the man, who is yet to be formally identified, left a premises on Bell Street about 10.45pm and crossed the road when he was struck by an approaching vehicle.
The man was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
The driver of the vehicle, an 82-year-old Coburg man, is assisting police with enquiries.
