Homicide Squad detectives have charged a woman with murder after an alleged fatal stabbing in Heidelberg West.
Emergency services were called to an address in Koitaki Court about 12.05am on Friday, 24 January, to reports a man had been stabbed.
A 55-year-old Heidelberg West man was located deceased at the property.
A 41-year-old Heidelberg West woman was arrested at the scene and later charged with one count of murder.
She will appear in Melbourne Magistrates' Court later today.
The two parties involved were known to each other.
