Help needed to find eight-year-old boy missing from Liverpool

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing near Liverpool.

William Thompson, aged eight, was last seen about 8pm last night (Saturday 21 September 2019) at his house on Amalfi Street, Lurnea.

He was reported missing to police this morning when family noticed he was not in the bedroom.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to his age.

William is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 140-145cm tall, of thin build, with short dark hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing grey trackpants, a dark coloured zip up jacket and black joggers. He may also be carrying a black and grey backpack and a black sports bag with a New Zealand silver fern on it.
