We are inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from service providers and project proponents who can help to design and deliver the First Nations Clean Energy Program.
The Program is a key part of the Australian Government's commitment to implement the First Nations Clean Energy Strategy which envisions a sustainable clean energy future for all Australians, with Country and Culture at the heart.
The Program aims to boost First Nations peoples' leadership and participation in clean energy opportunities. To achieve this, we know better access is needed to:
- expertise
- information
- project funding.
We are seeking non-binding EOIs to help design and deliver 2 important parts of the Program:
- Pilot Projects. Pilot funding to support First Nations peoples to progress clean energy projects. This will help to move projects along the development pipeline to a final investment decision.
- Clean Energy Toolkit. Products and services to help First Nations peoples access information. This aims to build knowledge of the energy transformation and help inform decisions.
