Are you a patron, event organiser, artist, community group, business, or local who wants to see the Manning Entertainment Centre thrive?
MidCoast Council is inviting the community to a public meeting at the MEC to share what's underway to improve the use of the much-loved venue - and to gather your ideas on other options and innovations for the centre.
Come along to the Manning Entertainment Centre on Tuesday 24 March, from 6 - 7.30pm to hear from Council staff and share your thoughts.
The meeting is being held following a Council resolution late last year asking for staff to hold a meeting for the community to 'look into options and new innovations to increase financial sustainability' at the MEC.
The MEC plays an important role in the cultural life of the MidCoast, hosting live performances, community events, presentations and celebrations throughout the year.
At the meeting Council staff will outline the work being progressed to improve the Centre's performance and use, and provide an opportunity for the community to share thoughts on additional opportunities to support the venue into the future.
For those interested in having a look through the facility beforehand, doors will be open from 5.30pm.
