Help Shape Seymour Community Wellbeing Hub

Mitchell Shire Council is inviting community feedback to help shape the next stage of planning for the Seymour Community Wellbeing Hub.

The Hub will be a central place for learning, health, and community connection in Seymour, with Stage 1 delivering a $17 million, two-storey facility expected to open in early 2027.

The design includes a new library, flexible meeting spaces, a café, landscaped outdoor areas, and a health hub with consulting rooms and shared workspaces for service providers.

Following the successful community consultation process in June and July 2024, Council is now seeking further community input to ensure the services and programs offered through the Hub reflect local needs. Whether it's health support, learning opportunities or community events, Council wants to hear what matters most to you.

The Hub is a major initiative in Mitchell Shire Council's 2025-2026 Budget, which includes more than $16.4 million in Council funding for the construction, expansion and upgrade of buildings across the Shire.

The project reflects Council's commitment to investing in health, learning and wellbeing spaces that meet the needs of the growing community.
