Help sought to find missing woman at Crows Nest

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate a woman missing from Sydney's north.

Lynn O'Reilly, aged 69, left a home on Willoughby Road, Crows Nest, about 3.15pm yesterday (Wednesday 12 February 2020), to attend a nearby supermarket.

When she failed to return home, family members searched the area before notifying police.

Officers from North Shore Police Area Command commenced inquiries and confirmed Mrs O'Reilly attended the Coles Supermarket on Willoughby Road about 3.45pm and was last seen heading west on Atchison Street.

Despite an extensive search of the area, police and family have been unable to locate her and have serious concerns for her welfare. Mrs O'Reilly has a pre-existing medical condition and is unfamiliar to the area, having travelled from the United Kingdom to visit family.

Mr's O'Reilly is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 165cm tall, with a thin build, and dark shoulder length hair.

She was last seen wearing a dark pink t-shirt, denim blue shorts, purple sandals and carrying a plastic bag.
