Bayside Council suggests using the GIVIT platform to help those affected by storms and flooding in NSW.
GIVIT is working with the NSW and Queensland governments. Together they are managing donations of items, services and funds, and working with charities to assess and advise what critical and immediate support is needed.
GIVIT allows you to donate a specific amount for a specific item such as fuel, pet food, groceries, sanitary products, underwear or towels etc.
100% of publicly donated funds GIVIT receives will be used to purchase exactly what's needed by people and communities impacted by storms and flooding.
GIVIT buys locally, wherever possible, to support local businesses.
