High-range drink-drive charge for woman with 4yo in car - Milperra

A Mays Hill woman, whose four-year-old daughter was a passenger in the car, will face court later this month on a high range drink driving charge.

Just before 9pm yesterday (Tuesday 7 May 2019), police were conducting random breath testing on Ashford Avenue, Milperra.

They stopped a Suzuki Swift and its driver, a 38-year-old woman, returned a positive roadside breath test.

At the time she was stopped, the woman's four-year-old daughter was a passenger in the vehicle.

The Mays Hill woman was arrested and taken to Bankstown Police Station where a subsequent breath analysis returned an alleged reading of 0.197.

Her licence was suspended, and she was issued a Field Court Attendance Notice to attend Bankstown Local Court on Wednesday 29 May 2019.

There, she will answer an allegation of driving with a High Range PCA. A child at risk notification has been made.
