Police are investigating a hit and run traffic crash resulting in the rider of an electric scooter sustaining injuries yesterday evening, 1 October.
Around 5.15pm, emergency services were called to Boundary Road in Narangba, following reports a white utility of unknown make and model, struck an e-scooter.
The driver of the ute failed to remain at the scene.
One of the riders, a 52-year-old Monkland man, sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.
The second rider, an 18-year-old Gympie woman, did not sustain any physical injuries.
The ute is described as white, with a cargo tray on the back and ladder rack.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have information or dashcam or CCTV footage from around the time of the incident to contact police.
Investigations are ongoing. There is no further information at this time.
