Hit-Run collision in Albanvale

Police are appealing for information following an alleged hit-run collision which occurred in Albanvale yesterday.

Investigators have been told a 50-year-old St Albans man was crossing Oakwood Road at Kardinia Drive about 9.30pm.

A black Nissan Skyline travelling north on Oakwood Road hit the pedestrian.

Witnesses have told police the Nissan stopped for a moment before driving off and heading onto Cromwell Road.

The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police believe that the Nissan may have sustained damage to the front left of the vehicle and passenger side mirror.

Investigators are keen to speak to anyone who may have CCTV or dash cam footage of the Nissan Skyline prior to, after or during the collision.
