The highly anticipated Acoustic Guitar Spectacular at the Logan Entertainment Centre (LEC) will bring together a hand-picked group of internationally recognised acoustic guitarists.

The show will be presented by the LEC and Red Chair from 7.30pm on Saturday, July 13.

Acclaimed Brisbane acoustic guitarist Michael Fix will be joined by YouTube sensation Italian virtuoso Luca Stricagnoli on his first visit to Australia and Roots/Rock multi-instrumentalist Minnie Marks.

Michael has won three Golden Guitars and numerous other awards in Australia, and tours widely throughout the world.

Over the past two decades, he's released 15 albums, together with several singles and EPs and has established himself globally as a leading performer, appearing at festivals and concert venues across Australia, Europe and Asia.

The composer's music is also widely heard in TV shows and documentaries all over the world.

Michael believes his music is a gift to be shared.

On this tour Logan's Chris Connelly will be mentored by the stars of the Acoustic Guitar Spectacular.

The 18-year-old from Shailer Park is the recipient of a mentoring opportunity run by the event for emerging and professional acoustic guitarists in the City of Logan.

He will also have the opportunity to perform at the spectacular.

Chris will also be performing throughout Logan in July as part of Logan Live Music Month.

Chris said he was excited to have the opportunity to further develop his skills with artists of the calibre of Michael, Luca and Minnie.

Luca is known for his unique style and innovative playing techniques including using up to five guitars in the same piece.

His music has also grabbed the attention of world-famous artists including Red Hot Chili Peppers and Walk Off The Earth.

Luca has explored even more approaches to guitar playing in his latest album What if?

The show is rounded out by Minnie, a singer, songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist.

Her performance will feature songs written over the past years of her musical journey around the world.

Minnie's first single The Peacock was released in January from her new album Trouble with the Troubadour.
