An investigation is underway following a home invasion at Guildford, NSW Police say.
Just before 5.30am today (Friday 27 April 2018), two men forced entry into a unit on Station Street and confronted the male occupant.
The pair threatened the man, before they were involved in an altercation.
The occupant managed to punch one of the intruders and they fled empty-handed.
Police were alerted and officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have established a crime scene and are conducting a search of the area.
Inquiries are continuing.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
