Police are appealing for information after a home invasion in South Coogee overnight, NSW Police say.
About 11pm (Tuesday 12 December 2017), emergency services were called to a unit on Malabar Road
following reports a man was injured.
Police have been told two men forced their way into the property and assaulted the man with a meat cleaver.
The occupant, a 43-year-old man, was treated at the scene for a laceration to his leg before being taken to Prince of Wales Hospital. His injuries are not considered life-threatening.
Officers attached to Eastern Beaches Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene.
