Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman in Coleraine this morning.
Officers were called to a home in Pilleau Street following reports a woman had been stabbed about 1.10am.
Attending officers found the injured woman who died at the scene.
A man, known to the woman, has been arrested.
Detectives from the Homicide Squad are headed to the scene.
The Coleraine man will be interviewed by detectives in relation to the woman's death.
