Hot on his trailer in Fraser Rise

Melton Police are investigating following a burglary at a Fraser Rise home last week.

Investigators believe a man attended the newly constructed Royale Drive house about 5am on Friday 19 July.

The man spent over two and a half hours at the residence loading various items into a trailer located in the garage.

He left the address about 7.45am before returning a short time later in a purple Holden Crewman SS ute with no registration plates.

The offender attached the trailer to the ute and fled the scene.

Investigators have released CCTV of a man who they believe can assist with their enquiries and the distinctive purple ute.

He was perceived to be Caucasian in appearance, was wearing on orange hi-viz top and black baseball cap, and walked with a distinctive gait.
