Investigations continue into the cause of a hotel fire in West Ryde overnight, NSW Police say.
Emergency services were called to the hotel on Victoria Road, near Chatham Road, about 10pm after reports of a fire in the basement. A number of people were evacuated from the building.
Fire & Rescue NSW officers attended and extinguished the blaze; however minor damage was caused to the storeroom of the building.
No one was injured during the incident.
Officers from Ryde Police Area Command established a crime scene, which will be forensically examined.
The cause of the fire is unknown and as inquiries continue, police are appealing for witnesses to contact police via Crime Stoppers.
