House fire - Chester Hill, NSW

Police are investigating the cause of a fire which damaged a house in Chester Hill this morning, NSW Police say.

Fire & Rescue NSW were called to Barbers Road about 3am today, to find a home well-alight. Six people living in the home escaped without injury.

Fire-fighters contained the blaze to the rear of the building; however, the fire is estimated to have caused $250,000 damage.

A crime scene has been established at the site and is being examined.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
