Safe Work Australia has awarded the Centre for Transformative Work Design at Curtin University a grant valued at $373,762. The grant will support a two-year participatory research project led by Dr Daniela Andrei, Professor Sharon Parker, and Dr Jane Chong on eliminating or minimising work-related psychosocial hazards for aged care workers by developing and implementing work redesign solutions that optimise job demands.

The research findings will contribute to the evidence base for effective organisational approaches to work design and the management of workplace psychosocial risks.
