Hunt On for QLD Mystery $100M Powerball Winner

Lotto officials are keenly searching for an unregistered winner from Southeast Queensland who landed a massive $100 million prize, half of the historic $200 million Powerball draw held on February 1, 2024. The other winner was a couple from Hunter River region.

The QLD winning ticket is yet to discover their good fortune as the purchase made in Southeast Queensland is not registered to a name.

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell says she is eagerly awaiting the moment the second Powerball winner discovered their prize.

“What a way to kick off 2024!”.

“We can’t wait to unite this mystery winner with their life-changing prize and have that incredibly special conversation about what their future might hold.

“Up to half of Australian adults spent the last week dreaming of what could be and how their futures may have changed if they’d won division one in the record-breaking $200 million Powerball draw.

“We are encouraging all Queensland players to check their entries, because you may just discover you’ve won a life-changing prize".

This historic Powerball draw not only saw two division one winners, each taking home $100 million, but also had 22 division two winners, each receiving $177,092.75, being just one number short of the top prize. Besides the $200 million Division One, there were 6,770,281 prizes worth over $140 million won across divisions two to nine. This puts the total winnings of last night at a record $340 million!

The winning numbers in Powerball draw 1446 were 12, 33, 23, 35, 1, 26, and 32, with the Powerball number being 10. While the winner from New South Wales has been identified, the Queensland winner remains a mystery, prompting a keen search by Lotto officials for the lucky ticket holder to begin their prize claim process.
