Hydro house uncovered after fire - Rydalmere

A hydroponic cannabis setup has been found following a house fire in Sydney's north-west last night.

About 11.45pm (Tuesday 22 September), emergency services were called to a home on Victoria Road, Rydalmere, following reports of a fire.

Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the blaze, which caused significant damage to the house.

The home was unoccupied at the time and no injuries have been reported to police.

Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command have confirmed a hydroponic setup was found inside the property.

A crime scene has been established and police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
