A man and woman have been charged after a hydroponic setup was found in the bedroom of a home in the Orana Region.
About 5pm Saturday (6 July 2019), police attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended a home on Goode Street at Dubbo, following an investigation into the cultivation of prohibited drugs in the township.
During a search of the home, it is alleged police found 11 cannabis plants growing in a greenhouse located in a bedroom.
The hydroponic setup was dismantled and seized by police.
A 25-year-old woman, and a 26-year-old man, were arrested and taken to Dubbo Police Station.
They were charged with cultivate a prohibited plant and possess a prohibited drug.
The man and woman were granted bail to appear before Dubbo Local Court on Wednesday 28 August 2019.
