The International Criminal Court (ICC) today launches its Strategic Plan for 2026-2029, representing a landmark achievement in the institution's evolution and a future-focused vision for international criminal justice.
For the first time since its establishment, all organs of the Court, the Judiciary, the Office of the Prosecutor, and the Registry, together with the Trust Fund for Victims, have jointly developed and endorsed a single, integrated Strategic Plan.
This unified approach reinforces the ICC's identity and integrated mission under the Rome Statute, reflecting a shared commitment to greater effectiveness in fighting impunity for the gravest crimes and a deep commitment to delivering meaningful justice to victims and affected communities.
The Court's Strategic Plan for 2026-2029 articulates ten overarching Strategic Goals that will shape the Court's direction, priorities and performance over the coming years. Each goal serves as a pillar of the Court's mission and long-term vision.
