Identity of man wanted after thefts and deceptions in Craigieburn

Police are seeking assistance to help identify a male suspect for theft from cars and deceptions in Craigieburn last month.

Investigators believe the suspect and three others, travelling in a stolen white Toyota Corolla, broke into a black Ford station-wagon parked on Waterford Avenue stealing house-painting materials on Thursday 16 April about 1.30am.

It is believed they then broke into a parked white Audi sedan parked on Distinction Avenue and stole a large quantity of cash and a bank card about 2am.

The stolen bank card was later used to make purchases at the following locations: -

• A fast-food restaurant on Craigieburn Road about 2.05am

• A service-station on Hume Highway about 4.08am

• A second service-station on Hume Highway about 4.30am

• A service-station on Harvest Road, Wollert about 6.20am

Investigators have released CCTV images of one of the people believed to be involved in the hope someone may be able to identify him.
