Illegal Interference Henley Beach South

Police are investigating a series of car break-ins in the Henley Beach South area overnight.

Police were called to the Esplanade, Henley Beach South at 3.30am on Friday 2 January by reports of a group of people forcing entry to a garage at the property and starting the victim's car.

The group were scared off by the homeowner and ran off.

While patrols were searching the area for the suspects, they identified five parked vehicles in surrounding streets that appeared to have been interfered with.

The suspects have not yet been located.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area or has dashcam or CCTV footage of the suspects that may assist the investigation is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestopperssa.com.au

There may be more vehicles broken into in the area. Anyone who discovers their car has also been interfered with or they have had property stolen can report it through the police assistance line on 131 444.
