Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Port Augusta service station in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Just after 4.30am on Tuesday 26 May, police were called to a service station on the Eyre Highway following reports that a man had entered the premises armed with an axe and threatened staff. The suspect stole cigarettes and cash from the till before fleeing.
The employee was not physically injured.
Multiple patrols attended and searched the area, however, the suspect was not located.
