Images released in assault investigation - Cabramatta

Police investigating a serious assault at Cabramatta have released images of three men who may be able to assist with inquiries.

About 4.40pm on Monday 18 March 2019, the three men were at a licenced premises on Railway Parade, when they started harassing customers, one stealing a customer's drink.

They were asked to leave by the licensee.

An argument took place before one of the men struck the 40-year-old licensee in the head with a glass bottle, then punched him in the head several times.

The three men then left the premises.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.

The three men have been described as Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, aged 20, and 180cm-185cm tall, one was wearing a black shirt and black pants.
