Images released of man after indecent assault - Strathfield

Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries following an alleged indecent assault at Strathfield Railway Station last week.

Just after 8pm Sunday 14 April 2019, a 26-year-old man was standing on Platform 1 at North Strathfield Railway Station when he was approached by another man who engaged in a conversation with him.

As the first man walked towards the oncoming train, the second man allegedly indecently assaulted him and followed him onto the train, where he alighted at Strathfield Station.

The incident was reported to Burwood Police Station and an investigation commenced.

Police are now seeking the assistance of the public to help identify a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being aged 20 to 25, Pacific Islander appearance, medium build with short brown "afro-style" hair. He was wearing a grey-coloured jumper, green cargo pants and beige boat shoes.

Investigations are continuing.
