The Imam of Adelaide's largest mosque, the Mahmood Mosque, Imam Kamran Tahir expressed deep sadness upon learning of the recent arson attack on Melbourne's Adass Israel Synagogue. He condemned the attack in the strongest terms, emphasising the importance of protecting all places of worship.
"We are heartbroken to hear of the attack on a place of faith," Imam Tahir said. "There is absolutely no justification for such acts. People should never be targeted based on their religion, and no house of worship should be violated."
