Impact of COVID-19 Stage 4 restrictions on services

Shire-Office-web.jpg

The Victorian Government's introduction of Stage 4 restrictions in its effort to stem the spread of COVID-19 has further implications for Council services and facilities.

Please be assured that essential services will be continuing for our residents.

These include our kerbside waste collection, services for older and vulnerable residents and our critical Maternal and Child Health visits.

However, the changes do impact some Council services, beyond those already affected by the previous Stage 3 restrictions. These include:

• Recycling and Recovery Centre, Plenty, is now closed to the public but will remain open for commercial customers only with a Permitted Work Permit. Due to the change, the operating hours have been modified to Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm. The centre is closed weekends, public holidays and during extreme weather.
