The Tasmanian Government would like to acknowledge the release of the Child Safety Reform Implementation Monitor's inaugural annual report.

The report provides Tasmanians an overview of the strong progress being made to improve protections for children and young people.

Attorney-General, Guy Barnett, acknowledged the release of the report and thanked Robert Benjamin AM KC for his work.

"Our Government is delivering for Tasmanians, ensuring we make a real difference by implementing reforms to better protect our children and young people," the Attorney said.

"This report is an important snapshot of the progress we have made in implementing recommendations from various inquiries and reviews, such as the Commission of Inquiry.

"While I'm pleased to see the strong progress we have made so far, I acknowledge that there is still a considerable amount of work to do in this important area.

"Our Government remains steadfast in our commitment to implementing recommendations made across the various reviews and inquiries highlighted in the annual report."
