Bunjil Place's email marketing service provider, Wordfly, has been subject to a security incident.

The security of your personal information is of the utmost importance to us. We are using an alternative provider to communicate with you in the interim.

This incident has not affected any other e-newsletter sent by the City of Casey, which are sent via different email providers.

What happened?

The email service provider that Bunjil Place recently started using experienced a network outage as a result of a cyber security incident.

On Saturday 16 July, Wordfly confirmed that names and email addresses of those subscribed to the Bunjil Place e-newsletter may have been impacted. There is currently no evidence that any of this data has been misused.

Wordfly is investigating this incident and their teams are working with experts to redress the situation.

What does this mean for your personal information?

Please be advised that the only personal information stored with Wordfly is your name and email address. This information is necessary in order to be able to communicate effectively with you.
