Westgate Highway Patrol impounded a vehicle last night as part of an operation targeting intentional high risk hoon driving in the north-west suburbs.
The driver of a black Holden Commodore was intercepted after his vehicle was observed engaging in hoon driving on Westgate Drive about 9pm.
The 22-year-old Hoppers Crossing man had his vehicle impounded for at least 30 days at a cost of $878.50
He is expected to be charged on summons with improper use of motor vehicle, careless driving, deliberate loss of traction and failing to display p plates.
