Improved visitor experience for campbells Wetland

Campbell's Wetland has received an upgrade thanks to a partnership between the Murrumbidgee Field Naturalists and Griffith City Council.

The Murrumbidgee Field Naturalists received a grant from the Murray–Darling Healthy Rivers Program to allow Council to carry out enhancement works including the installation of new walking paths, interpretive signage, seating and sandstone blacks along the pathway.

According to members of the Murrumbidgee Field Naturalists, work carried out thanks to the $49,000 grant has helped improve visitor experience at Campbell's Wetland.

Griffith Mayor, Councillor Doug Curran congratulated the Murrumbidgee Field Naturalists for their work on the project.

"Partnerships such as this enable our City to benefit," Councillor Curran said.

"These improvement works have really made a difference to the area.

"I'd like to thank the Murrumbidgee Field Naturalists for their interest and work on the grant submission."
