Police are investigating an incident at a Gilberton home this morning.
About 4.20am Monday 11 December police were called to James Street after a man was found at his home with serious injuries.
The victim, a man in his 60s, was taken to the RAH for treatment.
The other occupant of the home, a man in his 30s, wasn't injured.
Police are investigating the incident; Eastern District detectives will be attending the scene this morning.
