Six people have been arrested after an indecent at Glenside this evening.
Just before 5.15pm Thursday 21 March police and emergency services were called to a Portrush Road Shopping Centre following reports that two off duty police officers had detained several people suspected of theft.
When other police arrived at the scene six people were placed under arrest. It will be alleged the off duty police officers had also been assaulted by the suspects.
The members received injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
