Indecent Assault Appeal, Ferny Grove

Detectives from the Inner West Child Protection and Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance following reports a 23-year-old woman was indecently assaulted in Ferny Grove on June 19.

Between 3.50pm to 4pm, a woman was approached by a man while she was walking her dog on Hogarth Road.

The man verbally engaged the woman before indecently assaulting her and fleeing on foot.

Investigators would like to speak to a man described as Caucasian, with brown hair and in his early twenties, who they believe would be able to assist with investigations.

Anyone with dash cam vision from Hogarth Road and intersecting streets, including Beech Street, between 3:30pm to 4:20pm on June 19 is urged to come forward.

Investigations are ongoing.
