Police are investigating the indecent assault of a woman at Campsie last night, NSW Police say.
About 10.30pm, a 34-year-old woman was about to enter a unit complex in Ninth Avenue when she was approached by a man and indecently assaulted.
The woman fought back and the man was last seen running east on Ninth Avenue.
The woman reported the incident to Campsie Police Station.
Police would like to speak to a man described as having a tanned or olive complexion, about 175-180cm tall and wearing dark pants, a black leather jacket, joggers and a dark-coloured beanie with a white stripe.
Anyone who knows the identity of the man or saw someone matching his description in the area is asked to contact police.
Police are urging anyone with information in relation to this incident to call Crime Stoppers.
